About the position

The Lead AI Engineer at Capital One is responsible for developing and deploying AI-powered products that enhance customer interactions and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
• Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies.
• Invent and introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 4 years of experience in AI and ML algorithms or technologies, or Master's degree plus at least 2 years of experience.
• 6 years of experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms.
• Experience designing, developing, delivering, and supporting AI services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field.
