About the position

The Lead AI Solutions Marketing Manager at Lumen is responsible for creating and delivering unique market positioning and sales enablement materials to support the company's Private Connectivity Fabric and AI portfolio. This role requires a strong focus on customer outcomes, storytelling, and collaboration with various teams to develop engaging content that drives marketing efforts. The position is remote and emphasizes self-motivation and independence in achieving goals.

Responsibilities

  • Builds go-to-market strategies aligned with product portfolio and sales team to drive profitable revenues.
  • Translates highly technical information into succinct customer outcome messaging to develop value propositions, differentiators, messaging, proof points, and claims.
  • Develops sales enablement materials to ensure sales understanding at various technical levels.
  • Creates content for external marketing activation, such as eBooks, whitepapers, research reports, and content for customer roundtables that generates marketing qualified leads.
  • Composes content and manages the building of external marketing assets including brochures, case studies, customer presentations, newsletters, website, blogs, and other social media.
  • Partners with various marketing teams to drive the messaging in premium content such as infographics, white-board videos, webinars, and other lead-gen campaign activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Engineering, or related field in the communication and technology disciplines.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a progressively responsible marketing position, ideally in a solutions or product marketing, sales enablement, product management or related role in the Technology field/market.
  • A deep understanding of networking and digital infrastructure solutions and the competitive space within them.
  • Advanced communication and listening skills to interact with a wide range of people and functions within the marketing disciplines.
  • Direct B2B marketing experience with solid knowledge of marketing tactics.
  • Strong writing and strategic thinking skills.
  • A great attitude - willingness to learn new skills, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.
  • Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts.
