About the position

The Lead Analyst, Accounts Receivable is responsible for managing customer account reconciliations and collections activities for a diverse portfolio of small to medium customer accounts. This role involves ensuring accurate account management, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer account reconciliations and collections activities for a large number of small to medium customer accounts.
• Reconcile each customer account and provide all pertinent information needed to resolve each transaction; keep log of customers that have been contacted and track progress.
• Secure accurate customer contacts and email statements with detailed notes, invoices, and information.
• Proactively and timely escalate collection or reconciliation issues.
• Work with other Invoice to Cash teams to help resolve operational issues and improve processes.
• Escalate high-risk customers and internal scenarios preventing payments; proactively and timely escalate collection or reconciliation issues.
• Provide Collectors and internal teams the information to log/research/resolve disputed invoices, including price, tax, short-payments, over-payments, unapplied payments, etc.

Requirements

• Experience in accounts receivable or collections management.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Invoice to Cash processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
