About the position

The Lead Analyst, Advanced Provider Data Management plays a crucial role in analyzing and understanding business processes within the healthcare sector. This position is designed for individuals who possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring and supporting other analysts. The Lead Analyst serves as a vital link between business units and IT, ensuring that technical solutions are aligned with the overarching business goals. This role is not only about data analysis but also about driving performance improvements and optimizing processes across the organization. In this position, the Lead Analyst will be responsible for leading others by providing training, support, and ongoing feedback to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and delivery. Establishing departmental best practices is a key responsibility, which includes documenting and communicating these practices with leaders and analysts. The Lead Analyst will engage in discussions with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into comprehensive business and functional specifications. A significant part of the role involves analyzing complex healthcare data sets to identify trends and patterns. The Lead Analyst will communicate insights and recommendations that drive informed decision-making and process improvements. Identifying inefficiencies in existing departmental processes and developing new solutions will be essential, as will driving key stakeholders to adopt and execute those solutions. The Lead Analyst will also lead and support cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders is crucial for ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments. Additionally, the Lead Analyst will develop and present key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead others by providing training, support, and ongoing feedback for skill development and to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of business analysis experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel or SQL.
  • Experience training and supporting other individual contributors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
