About the position

The Lead Analyst, Information Security at Lowe's is responsible for leading the development and ongoing delivery of information security tools and processes. This role ensures that information security projects meet objectives on time, focusing on increasing employee adoption and usage of new systems and processes. The position requires a strategic perspective to address complex issues across technologies and business units, while providing thought leadership and guidance to enhance security practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of information security tools and processes.
  • Ensure information security projects meet objectives on time by increasing employee adoption.
  • Create, execute, and improve processes and procedures for information security.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to the department on security practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish clear goals, objectives, and performance outcomes.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to measure project performance and inform stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement new processes to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct continuous improvement sessions and incorporate lessons learned.
  • Represent department leadership in operational planning and strategic outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in information security.
  • Advanced understanding of security and network concepts.
  • Proven track record in security architecture, engineering, or operations.
  • Relevant information security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in project management and leading complex projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in security architecture or engineering.
  • 3 years of experience leading or managing people.
  • Experience with Public Cloud computing (GCP/Azure).
  • Understanding of APIs and micro-services.
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management.
