About the position

The Lead Analyst - Performance & Budgets plays a crucial role in leading financial and operational plan development and analysis for Networks Operations. This position involves consulting with senior leadership to align business goals, collaborating across various organizational levels to enhance operational efficiencies, and driving profitability through informed decision-making. The analyst will also be responsible for planning and presenting company events, ensuring effective communication of performance metrics, and supporting strategic initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial and operational plan development and analysis for Networks Operations.
  • Consult with senior leadership to determine business goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Operations to develop efficiencies and assist with financial and operational requirements.
  • Drive performance improvement by defining and monitoring relevant indicators for the electric business.
  • Provide high-level financial assessments for monthly performance discussions.
  • Organize and maintain engagement with forums and meetings for Operations leaders.
  • Develop and manage metrics to track Networks Operations performance.
  • Identify trends and produce ad-hoc analysis to support enterprise value creation.
  • Define, consolidate, and register action plans for underperforming KPIs.
  • Lead collaborative efforts to define strategic KPIs and accountability across the board.
  • Schedule and host performance meetings, following up on objectives.
  • Develop and monitor the NOE budget for two Lines of Business in Operations.
  • Communicate budget initiatives and variances to leaders and impacted employees.
  • Support the team in providing all operations NOE analysis and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attend executive management meetings to present performance reports.
  • Develop data sets and ad-hoc reporting to optimize performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience or High School Diploma with 10 years relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP fundamentals and processes preferred.
  • Experience in formulating business cases is valued.
  • Strong communication skills to convey clear messages to leadership.

  • Proficiency in other Microsoft applications is valued.
  • Knowledge of Networks Operations is valued.
