About the position

The Lead Analyst - Performance & Budgets is responsible for leading financial and operational plan development and analysis for Networks Operations. This role involves consulting with senior leadership to align business goals, enhancing profitability, and ensuring effective decision-making through performance management. The analyst will collaborate across various organizational levels to drive efficiencies and support day-to-day financial and operational requirements, while also hosting and presenting company events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial and operational plan development and analysis for Networks Operations.
  • Consult with senior leadership to determine business goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Operations organization to develop efficiencies and assist with financial and operational requirements.
  • Drive performance improvement by defining, approving, and monitoring relevant indicators for the electric business.
  • Provide high-level financial assessments on a monthly basis for performance discussions.
  • Organize and maintain engagement with forums and meetings for Operations leaders.
  • Implement in-person events for leadership discussions on strategic projects and development opportunities.
  • Develop, manage, and enhance metrics to track Networks Operations performance.
  • Identify trends and produce ad-hoc analysis to support enterprise value creation.
  • Define, consolidate, and register action plans for underperforming KPIs.
  • Lead collaborative efforts to define strategic KPIs and accountability across the board.
  • Schedule and host performance meetings, following up on objectives.
  • Develop and present agendas for leadership meetings throughout the year.
  • Develop NOE budget for two Lines of Business in Operations and monitor variances.
  • Create a framework to review and audit overtime variances and communicate with business leaders.
  • Support the team in providing all operations NOE analysis.
  • Oversee work measures progress to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Promote automation and efficiencies in day-to-day work streams.
  • Attend executive management meetings to present performance reports.
  • Develop data sets and ad-hoc reporting to optimize performance.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations functional areas and corporate areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Associates Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience or High School Diploma with 10 years relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency with SAP fundamentals and processes preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of Networks Operations is valued.
  • Experience in formulation of business cases.
