As a product owner, you will play a crucial role in transforming the way the world pays and banks, working on innovative financial technology solutions that are vital for the world's largest and fastest-growing merchants and SMEs. The financial industry is experiencing rapid growth, and FIS is at the forefront of this evolution, creating services that help our clients achieve predictable and profitable revenue streams. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog, which includes epics, features, and user stories. You will solve product-related problems, make informed decisions, and conduct trade-off analyses to ensure that we meet our business deliverable commitments. Your ability to draft product key objectives and results, along with strategies, will be essential in applying data to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development phases of product creation, ensuring that the team focuses on delivering maximum value aligned with our product strategy. As a product champion, you will draft and define detailed specifications for product features, ensuring clarity for the development and QA teams. You will also review and provide feedback on test plans to ensure that application changes meet acceptance criteria. Your role will involve creating Sprint Release Plans in collaboration with scrum masters, project managers, and development teams, while monitoring development progress and providing updates to stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements and train internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems, or procedures.
