About the position

The Lead Analyst at Ryan, LLC plays a crucial role in assisting the Manager and Analysts in daily client service activities with limited supervision. This position involves mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work, and ensuring optimal productivity. The Lead Analyst is responsible for creating positive team experiences that enhance client service and contribute to the firm's revenue and profit. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, along with a solid understanding of property tax processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager and Analysts in daily client service activities.
  • Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
  • Create positive team member experiences to enhance client service.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
  • Manage and monitor daily workflows to meet internal and state-mandated deadlines.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage emergencies effectively.
  • Formulate and implement new procedures for filing or processing requirements.
  • Conduct internal or external training as needed.
  • Review team time and expense reports for accuracy and completion.
  • Assist with the development and deployment of system enhancements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree highly recommended.
  • Minimum of three years of external property tax experience or sustained proficiency in key performance indicators for the prior level.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with OneSource Property Tax Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
