About the position

The Business Strategy and Analytics team at Delaware North is seeking an individual to manage internal relationships with key business drivers and optimize tools that empower these groups to drive revenue. This role involves overseeing dynamic pricing efforts for various products, enhancing data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics, and leading the Business Optimizations vertical. The individual will be responsible for generating reports, managing data exports, supporting financial audits, and identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and quality across business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with Ticketing, Premium Corporate Partnerships, and other key business drivers to develop solutions that empower their day-to-day operations.
  • Build business KPI dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau and PowerBI to create actionable reports.
  • Develop models for real-time pricing recommendations for key products and validate changes with relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with other verticals to refine business implementations and document processes.
  • Create analytical frameworks and evidence-based tools to support leadership decision-making.
  • Lead full-lifecycle projects from requirements gathering to delivery, defining KPIs and success criteria.
  • Ensure data pipelines and ETLs are stable and maintain data quality standards in collaboration with the data warehouse provider.
  • Continuously analyze and propose optimizations to workflows and processes based on industry best practices.
  • Maintain responsibility for business-related artifacts such as reports and dashboards.
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships to foster effective collaboration.
  • Manage internal project management solutions and prioritize work with the Director.
  • Track business KPIs and distribute reports to stakeholders while identifying business issues.
  • Support ongoing business projects and priorities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Business, Operations, or related Business Analytics field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 4 - 6+ years of experience in sports, data analytics, finance, corporate strategy, or management consulting, preferably in technical and data-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of processes and relational databases, with knowledge of complex digital ecosystems a plus.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics, KORE, Ticket Sales, Pricing Analytics, and Dynamic Pricing required.
  • Ability to write and interpret complex SQL queries for data extraction and BI reporting.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g. R, Stata, Python, Excel Power Query) and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced functions in Excel preferred.
  • Experience with an ESP (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and a CRM application (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Highly resourceful, disciplined, and self-motivated with strong emotional intelligence.
  • Experience with client-facing presentations and managing sensitive confidential information.
  • Willingness for infrequent domestic travel and occasional game day/night attendance.
