About the position

The Lead Android Developer will be responsible for leading the development of Android applications within a team environment, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions for the FinTech and banking sectors. This role requires extensive experience in Android development, particularly with Kotlin, and involves collaboration with other developers to create user-friendly applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement UI constructs such as Views, Controllers, and Recycler Views.
• Utilize reactive programming techniques and coroutines for efficient application performance.
• Implement Dependency Injection using Dagger and manage API calls with Retrofit.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and maintain high code quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in FinTech or banking.
• 4+ years of Android development experience in a team or corporate environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Kotlin, including reactive programming and coroutines.
• Strong understanding of UI constructs and Jetpack architecture components.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with example apps published in app stores.
• Technical degree or additional relevant experience.
