About the position
The Senior Application Developer role at Robert Half focuses on supporting a Workday project with an emphasis on back-end development and building integrations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to an enterprise-wide transition by leading the development of desktop solutions and web applications, primarily using C# and various Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of standalone desktop solutions or web applications using C#.
- Maintain a high level of capability in the firm's technologies and methodologies including C#, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, ReactJS, JavaScript, Git, Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Translate business requirements into clearly documented technical designs.
- Collaborate with Project/Product Managers to develop task estimates and work plans.
- Lead the design of application databases including table and index design, database normalization and de-normalization, stored procedure and view creation.
- Lead the troubleshooting of data and technical issues and develop troubleshooting skills in other team members.
- Manage the scheduling of development resources to achieve successful delivery as requirements and priorities change.
Requirements
- Leadership experience with the ability to present and communicate effectively to business teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading a technical team.
- Advanced development and coding experience using C#, SQL, and .NET.
- Integration experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
