As a Lead Application Developer at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), you will lead a team of developers in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications that are crucial to the organization's success. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in application design, development, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Mentor and teach other developers on best practices and technology standards.
• Manage complex projects to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders including project teams, business analysts, and product owners.
• Promote collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence within the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering scalable digital products.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a development team.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and complex software product delivery.
• Experience in building distributed systems based on microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming using languages such as Blazor, C#, .NET, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with API management systems like Apigee and Informatica, and REST API design.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS public cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration and build automation tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
