About the position
The Senior Application Developer will play a crucial role in supporting a Workday project, primarily focusing on back-end development and building integrations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an enterprise-wide transition and make a significant impact through the development of standalone desktop solutions and web applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of standalone desktop solutions or web applications using C#
- Maintain a high level of capability in technologies including C#, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, ReactJS, JavaScript, Git, Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and CI/CD Pipelines
- Translate business requirements into clearly documented technical designs
- Collaborate with Project/Product Managers to develop task estimates and work plans
- Lead the design of application databases including table and index design, database normalization and de-normalization, stored procedure and view creation
- Lead troubleshooting of data and technical issues and develop troubleshooting skills in team members
- Manage scheduling of development resources to achieve successful delivery as requirements and priorities change
Requirements
- Leadership Experience - Ability to present and be concise to business teams
- Demonstrated experience leading a technical team
- Advanced development and coding experience using C#, SQL and .NET
- Integration experience
