About the position

As a Lead Application Developer at ADP, you will lead a scrum team focused on the Workforce Now Platform, managing key components such as the Homepage, Workflow, and Message Center. This role involves collaborating with product clients, managers, analysts, architects, UX designers, and engineers to design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions. You will be responsible for coding, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and maintainable software in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a scrum team in managing the Workforce Now Platform components.
• Collaborate with product clients, managers, analysts, architects, UX designers, and engineers.
• Plan, design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions.
• Develop and review software requirements and create design documents.
• Write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on coding standards.
• Participate in daily scrums to discuss responsibilities and coding priorities.
• Deliver features on time while maintaining good coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong application development skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS).
• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, and Node.js.
• API design experience.
• Implementation of design patterns.
• Development of scalable application architectures.
• Experience leading projects or teams.
• Background in Agile/Scrum methodology.
