About the position

As the Lead Finance Applications Engineer at Docusign, you will play a crucial role in scaling the company's finance applications, particularly focusing on Oracle Subscription Management and Quote to Cash systems. This position involves collaborating with various teams to provide technology solutions that support Docusign's growth and enhance business processes. You will be responsible for analyzing business problems, designing technical solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of Oracle ERP systems globally.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the Lead Application Engineer and collaborate with Enterprise Integration Services, Enterprise Architecture, and Product Management teams to define comprehensive system and business solutions in Oracle Subscription Management and Quote to Cash systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business problems, cross-functional project requirements, and new capabilities needed to support business processes.
  • Evaluate existing business processes, application architecture, and integrations to design, develop, and implement technical solutions.
  • Configure relevant Oracle modules, design and develop custom extensions and support various testing cycles leading up to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and final Go Live.
  • Prepare technical architecture, technical design, and configuration documentation.
  • Assist with data mapping, error handling, code reviews, testing, defining test scenarios, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Design and develop solutions using tools and methods such as VBCS, Groovy scripting, REST APIs, Postman, OIC, BI Publisher, and SQL.
  • Negotiate IT commitments, business benefits, technology options, costs, and constraints, and propose alternative solutions to the business.
  • Maintain and document current and new system process flows and functional and technical specifications.
  • Educate business partners on how to best engage and collaborate with IT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM field with relevant IT/ERP experience.
  • Techno-functional experience with Oracle Cloud Subscription Management (OSS), Pricing configurations, Accounts Receivables, and Production Information Management (PIM).
  • 12+ years of experience in IT technical analysis, design, development and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions and custom extensions.
  • 3+ years of implementation experience with Oracle Cloud Subscription Management, specifically in pricing and usage-based billing, preferably in a cloud-based (SaaS) subscription model.
  • Experience with Oracle cloud APIs, Groovy scripting, BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI.
  • Experience with extending Oracle Fusion Cloud applications using tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PL/SQL, VBCS, APEX, Groovy, Java, BPM and Object workflows.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Project Management tools.
  • Expertise in data analysis using SQL and other analytical tools such as Excel and Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of the Oracle cloud application landscape, with a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience on subscription and billing applications like Zuora.
  • Experience with payment gateways and self service business models.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce and Apttus applications.
  • Experience working in a subscription platform that handles B2C transactions.
  • Experience in Oracle Redwood application, Oracle Digital Assistant.
