As a Lead Application Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace Service & Technology within the Flight Simulators group, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers. This position is essential for delivering solutions and technical support for manufacturers of simulation devices that are used to train both pilot and maintenance personnel. Our team is responsible for supporting all Honeywell avionics products across various aircraft, both military and commercial. This includes providing data, technical support, and software products that incorporate avionics software from Honeywell products such as EPIC, displays, Flight Management Systems (FMS), and surveillance products. In this role, you will be required to address multiple requests in different software languages across various avionics platforms. You will report directly to the S&C Operations Director and will work out of our Deer Valley, Arizona location while adhering to a hybrid work schedule. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise and guidance to the team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions, managing project timelines, customer commitments, and resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the areas of cyber and export control. This position requires a U.S. Person due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, which means you must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
