About the position

The position involves developing cost-effective information technology solutions by creating and modifying software applications. The role requires coordination with users to determine requirements, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing complex software applications. The individual may also serve as a technical lead, providing training and direction to team members, and may be involved in 24/7 production support.

Responsibilities

• Design Technical Solutions for Corporate Applications that meet customer requirements
• Participate and lead project meetings
• Participate in 24x7 production support on-call rotation
• May be technical lead on larger projects and act as project lead on smaller projects/development efforts
• Review and recommend vendor products, develop technical specifications, and interface with other applications
• Act as a liaison to define business requirements and/or problems and initiate maintenance of existing programs or designs of a new application
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Experience in software development and application design
• Proficiency in coding, testing, and debugging software applications
• Ability to coordinate with users to determine requirements
• Experience in leading project meetings and teams
• Knowledge of vendor product evaluation and technical specifications
