About the position

The Lead Associate, Product Development is a pivotal role responsible for transforming product initiatives and managing vendor relationships within the market. Reporting to the VP, Head of Product, Asset Protection, this position involves overseeing product intake, driving product roadmap prioritization, and ensuring effective communication between product vendors, sales, IT, and operations. The role requires strategic collaboration across departments to enhance processes and support product strategy, while also liaising with external stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep relationships and partnerships across the company and industry to gain alignment on strategy and execution
  • Advise business leaders with data-driven insights to address key business issues and opportunities
  • Lead the intake process for new product ideas and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on input from stakeholders and market demands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring timely execution and delivery
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product vendors, fostering strong relationships to drive product and service improvements
  • Ensure clear, effective communication with product vendors regarding priorities, timelines, and product updates
  • Oversee and manage special projects related to product development and vendor coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure the successful launch of new products and enhancements
  • Track the implementation progress of products, ensuring all milestones are met according to the product roadmap
  • Communicate updates and manage expectations with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
  • Oversee the intake and prioritization of requests from the sales team, ensuring timely, efficient responses

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Product, Sales, Operations, and/or Data Analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in business or similar field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and key outside parties
  • Comfortable negotiating, influencing and effectively communicating and managing change
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex issues

Benefits

  • Targeted salary range of $95,500 to $130,000
  • Annual incentive based on individual and Company performance
