About the position

The Lead Customer Service Associate at Par Mar Oil Company is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting store management in daily operations. This role involves leading customer service associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction. The Lead will also take charge in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, making it a pivotal position within the store's management team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service that exceeds company goals and expectations.
  • Assist Store Management in day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Direct Customer Service Associates on assigned tasks and provide feedback.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive store environment, both inside and outside.
  • Train and retrain store level employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to store operations.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Support and promote store promotions and community events.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and assist with merchandise receiving.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler Certification.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours on a hard surface floor.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in cold environments and tolerate various chemicals.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
