About the position

The Lead AV Installation Technician at CCS Presentation Systems is responsible for overseeing the installation of audio and video equipment for various projects. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and excellent communication abilities to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams. The technician will ensure that all project requirements are met and that installations are completed efficiently and to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Make initial contact with the installation team to clearly communicate the scope of work, safety plans, and project requirements.
• Adhere to all company standards and actively maintain and update these standards as needed.
• Understand the details and requirements of each project and determine the proper installation for each job.
• Ensure all equipment is staged for a project 1-2 weeks prior to the start date of a project.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager for just-in-time ordering of equipment.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for the project and ensure resources are aware of the needs with appropriate advance notice.
• Continuously update each project's needs as they arise.
• Accurately report project percentage of completion and the anticipated completion date for financial forecasting.
