About the position

The Lead AV Technician will be responsible for overseeing and executing audio-visual integration projects in various commercial environments. This role requires a blend of technical skills in installation and troubleshooting of AV systems, as well as leadership capabilities to guide a team and maintain high standards of work. The technician will work on installations in diverse settings such as churches, schools, hotels, and sports arenas, ensuring that all AV equipment is set up and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute AV integration projects in commercial environments.
• Install audio, video, lighting systems, and control systems.
• Perform cable pulling and data terminations.
• Troubleshoot large and small AV systems effectively.
• Read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Maintain organized paperwork and digital documentation.
• Work collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Develop and maintain installation standards.

Requirements

• Experience with AV integration and installation in commercial settings.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting audio and video systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on installation experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Experience in rigging and control systems.
