About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified Lead AWS Cloud Developer with expertise in DevOps, Angular, and NodeJS to develop and build scalable enterprise applications. This role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive in troubleshooting, improving application performance, and ensuring the overall success of the team and satisfaction of clients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with end-users (clients) and interact with technical teams.
• Troubleshoot end-users' issues and determine the root cause of the issue.
• Provide data fixes to resolve backend data related issues.
• Provide detailed documentation for code-level defects.
• Lead sub-production upgrade activities for responsible applications.
• Learn end-to-end flow for new applications.
• Monitor applications, handle outages/maintenance/upgrade activities.
• Determine ways to improve application performance (infra and app specific).
• Conduct thorough continuous monitoring/testing/code walkthroughs to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Provide technical guidance to the application team during troubleshooting.
• Utilize AWS services and monitor key performance indicators to assess application performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS services including CloudFront, Route53, Security, Certificate Manager, Logging, Lambda, S3, EC2.
• Experience with Grafana and ServiceNow as an end-user.
• Database knowledge and expertise in SQL, DynamoDB, PostGre.
• Strong expertise in NodeJS, Angular, and Java.
• Excellent troubleshooting and application support skills.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with multiple teams and end-users.
• Good problem-solving skills.

• Experience with application monitoring and outage handling.
• Familiarity with infrastructure level support handling.
