About the position

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable solutions using AWS Cloud Formation, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
  • Oversee the integration of AWS CloudWatch and AWS IAM to ensure robust monitoring and security.
  • Provide expertise in Apache Spark and Python to develop and optimize data processing pipelines.
  • Utilize AWS Glue Catalog and Amazon S3 for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement data modeling techniques to support complex data structures and relationships.
  • Apply NoSQL database solutions to manage large volumes of unstructured data.
  • Ensure compliance with Risk Management protocols to mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify and address system vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in architecture and solution design.
  • Demonstrate expertise in AWS Cloud Formation, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and AWS IAM.
  • Show proficiency in Apache Spark, Python, and data modeling techniques.
  • Have a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Display a solid understanding of Risk Management principles.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and Amazon S3 is essential.

Benefits

  • Annual salary between $110,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
