About the position

The Lead Azure Data Engineer position is a hybrid role based in Blue Ash, OH, designed for experienced professionals with a strong background in Azure technologies. This role involves leading data engineering projects, utilizing various Azure services, and ensuring efficient data processing and management. The position is contract-based for a duration of 6 months, targeting candidates with significant experience in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering projects utilizing Azure technologies.
• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Data Bricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Implement CI/CD practices for data engineering processes.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in managing data engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Py Spark for data processing.
• Experience with SQL for database management and querying.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Familiarity with Data Bricks for data analytics and processing.
