About the position

The Lead Azure Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development and design of Supply Chain Data Engineering solutions within a dynamic and fast-paced team. This position involves leading the engineering efforts, maintaining high standards of code quality, and addressing technical challenges while guiding team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure technologies and be capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and design of Supply Chain Data Engineering solutions.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and reduce technical debt and vulnerabilities.
• Resolve production issues and orchestrate data pipelines.
• Guide team members and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Work in a shared service team and manage multiple initiatives in parallel.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and CI/CD processes.
• Strong leadership capabilities and excellent collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, ADF, SQL, ADLS, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
