As a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer at Hologic, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Research and Development, Engineering, and Software Development teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of DevOps, you will collaborate closely with the engineering and DevOps teams to design, build, and manage our DevOps processes and infrastructure within the Azure environment. This position is hands-on and offers the opportunity to develop new skills with cutting-edge technologies as we expand our practices and scale our operations. You are expected to demonstrate a leadership mindset, possess solid operational experience with Azure, and exhibit strong problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills, knowledge of the latest industry trends, and a high degree of innovation are essential for success in this role. In this position, you will be responsible for engineering a variety of Infrastructure Services that encompass Azure Subscriptions, catering to both customer and internal project requirements, as well as organizational role readiness. You will lead efforts to continuously improve, enhance, and adopt new features and services into our portfolio. Driving automation for the supported services will be a key focus, along with implementing and adhering to recommended engineering practices to ensure high-quality solutions. You will also be tasked with maintaining a balance between tactical and strategic work, ensuring that necessary maintenance and operational activities are performed for the services you support. Your role will involve leading the delivery of complex infrastructure solutions, which includes envisioning, technical design, development, and implementation. You will actively collaborate with stakeholders and internal business units to understand their requirements and deliver solutions efficiently. Adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring high service availability will be critical. You will be responsible for documenting and measuring the value proposition and business impact of every product, project, or service. Additionally, you will provide actionable insights and recommendations to the domains on the supported services, enabling governance processes and dashboards. Proactive communication with customers and users will be essential, as will your ability to adjust to constant business changes, including new requirements and evolving priorities. You will also be responsible for your own professional development, staying updated on the latest trends and developments in your field, and contributing to the organization's strategies and roadmap.
