About the position

The Lead Backend .Net Developer at Deloitte is a pivotal role within the Product Engineering team, responsible for delivering high-quality web application solutions to support Deloitte's Member Firm. This position involves designing and deploying custom products and complex workflows, ensuring consistency and efficiency in service delivery. The role requires strong technical skills in .NET technologies, Azure services, and microservices architecture, along with leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver web application solutions to support Deloitte Member Firm.
• Design and deploy custom products and complex workflows.
• Provide consultative support in designing web application solutions.
• Support QA team with clarifications and doubts.
• Deliver and deploy releases to different environments.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Liaise with a learning group to provide input into training materials.
• Provide input to standards and guidelines and implement best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience as a backend .Net Developer or 6 years with an advanced degree.
• 3+ years of recent experience utilizing .Net Core, Microservices, and Azure development platform.
• Recent experience supporting Azure environments including Azure PaaS services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including DML, DDL, and stored procedures.
• Ability to perform hands-on coding and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to script utilizing ReactJS, Javascript, Nodejs, Typescript, SocketIO.
• Experience leading a group of developers.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
