About the position

The Lead Base Area Operator at Vail Resorts is responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable arrival experience for guests at the base area of the resort. This role involves a variety of operational tasks, including parking management, maintenance of the base area, and providing excellent service to guests. It offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic outdoor environment while contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all base area operations including parking, scanning, and upkeep of the base area.
• Act as a flexible labor force for various projects and events.
• Perform janitorial duties as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Follow procedures and guidelines to ensure safety for yourself and your team.
• Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs (22.6 kg).
• Ability to work on your feet and perform physical work consistently.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• 1+ years of related experience.
