About the position
The Lead Battle Simulations Manager at GDIT is responsible for overseeing a Battle Simulation Center that supports a TRADOC education environment. This role involves leading a team of simulation and training professionals to ensure soldiers receive a robust and realistic training experience in Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environments. The manager will collaborate with a network of simulation and training experts and maintain compliance with technical standards while remaining current on relevant training capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of simulation and training professionals in a dynamic training environment.
- Collaborate with over 500 globally distributed simulation and training experts.
- Maintain ATO/RMF compliance with the Simulation Center technical staff.
- Stay current on the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability federation.
- Ensure doctrinal relevance in training operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline required.
- 10+ years of related experience in Army Battle Simulations environments.
- Certified at the IAT Level II according to DoD instruction 8570.1m.
- Extensive experience with modern and legacy Army and Joint battle simulations systems.
- Experience operating battle simulations systems on classified networks at Secret and Top Secret/SCI levels.
- Superior communication skills with subordinates and high-level customers.
- Program/Project management experience.
