The Lead Bistro Attendant connects with the guests by providing them a friendly, enthusiastic, yet professional and timely service. This role involves maintaining cleanliness of the Bistro, including all appliances and counter space throughout the morning, and removing trash as necessary throughout the shift. The Lead Bistro Attendant must have cashier experience and computer knowledge, and be proactive in counting money before a shift begins to avoid miscalculations at the end of the shift. Responsibilities also include tabulating data regarding bills, total amounts, and expenses in cash registers or recording them in computers, while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction and keeping team morale high. The attendant is responsible for stocking shelves and keeping track of stock that is about to finish, handling money and other currencies, and performing repetitive work without errors. Additionally, the attendant must maintain records regarding transactions on computers, possess excellent interpersonal and people skills, and be in proper uniform at all times. Integrity, honesty, and accountability in all dealings are essential, as is the readiness to work varied hours and weekends. The ability to read and write is also required.
