About the position

The Lead Budget Analyst position at Evans Army Community Hospital involves overseeing the preparation, justification, and presentation of the annual command operating budget. Responsibilities

• Assist the Budget Branch Chief in preparing and presenting the annual command operating budget.
• Develop budget frameworks and establish procedures for budget estimates.
• Provide financial advice to Department Chiefs and Deputy Commanders regarding the operating budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Resource Management reports.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) with the execution plan.
• Establish fund distribution for various appropriations.
• Track the earning status of all reimbursable accounts.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience in budget policy development and financial advisory services.
• Experience in formulating and executing operational and reimbursable funds for major programs.
• Ability to analyze financial trends and recommend actions to assist in funding planning.
