About the position

The Lead Business Analysis position at AT&T involves managing the requirements process by acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. The role focuses on aligning business needs with technical architecture and solutions, ensuring that project requirements are elicited, analyzed, and validated effectively. This senior-level position requires deep technical knowledge and expertise in requirements management, SDLC, and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and validate project requirements for new applications or enhancements.
  • Understand business issues and needs to translate them into requirements for overall solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end requirements process using appropriate tools and approaches.
  • Conduct peer reviews and assist clients in assessing the impact of new technologies.
  • Support cost/benefit estimates and create ITO VPMO requests for additional capacity or hardware.
  • Prepare requirements packages and manage requirements traceability changes.
  • Review final technical designs and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participate across the project lifecycle to ensure requirements meet stakeholder specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in business analysis and requirements management.
  • Expertise in SDLC, business processes, applications, and systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in RFP development and technical evaluation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Technical Career Pathway (TCP) roles.
