About the position

The Lead Business Analyst (BA) role at Schreiber Foods is designed for a highly self-motivated individual who can quickly grasp the Quality business domain and various IT systems. This position requires strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and involves indirect leadership to drive strategic initiatives and foster collaboration. The role is crucial for aligning Quality business objectives with technological solutions, ultimately contributing to the organization's success. The position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, allowing for both onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Quality business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed requirements.
  • Work with software development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Manage changes to requirements and assess their impact on project scope and complexity.
  • Develop and maintain traceability of requirements from planning through post-production.
  • Analyze current Quality business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Collaborate with Quality business units to re-engineer processes for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
  • Build connections with business partners, including users, vendors, and management at all levels.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and Quality business units to ensure seamless communication.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply technology for innovation and efficiency improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  • Manage conflict and collaborate with project stakeholders to gain alignment on requirements.
  • Develop and facilitate user acceptance criteria to ensure business needs are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in a business analyst role with a focus on Quality management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in business analytics tools and software development methodologies.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor business analysts at various levels.
  • Experience in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile-SCRUM).
  • Strong Quality business acumen and understanding of various business processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of digital solutions for process optimization.
