About the position

The Lead Business Execution Consultant role at Wells Fargo involves consulting on complex initiatives with significant impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution. The position requires a solid understanding of data management, compliance requirements, and the ability to strategically collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve multifaceted challenges in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business, technology, and CIB data management leaders for the execution of data management deliverables across CIB.
  • Ensure CIB compliance with Enterprise data policies and procedures.
  • Support the resolution of data quality defects and data issues.
  • Support data control remediation plans and establish applicable data quality controls.
  • Support all regulatory remediation activities and mitigate data management risk for CIB.
  • Establish and monitor key data management risk metrics.
  • Identify data management risks, measure compliance, and assess the effectiveness of controls for risk mitigation.
  • Implement appropriate data management controls to mitigate risks.
  • Identify and escalate key and emerging risks related to data management.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Experience in data validation, data lineage, and data management.
  • Ability to utilize multiple data sources.
  • Financial services industry experience within investment banking, corporate banking, commercial real estate, or capital markets (preferred).
  • Experience working with AI (preferred).
  • Experience providing senior leadership updates and responding to questions.
  • Knowledge of the enterprise data domain and data environment construct.
  • Extensive knowledge of data governance compliance.
  • Knowledge of data movement and data quality controls.
  • Extensive business analyst skills including technical, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and research.
  • Experience in technology delivery or technology change and potential resulting risks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with working with AI (preferred).
  • Financial services industry experience within investment banking, corporate banking, commercial real estate, or capital markets (preferred).
