About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Quality Management team within Consumer, Small, and Business Banking Operations. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute various programs and initiatives while driving accountability and creating efficiencies. The consultant will assess business performance, solve complex issues, and support the implementation of solutions, all while collaborating with team members and influencing less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance.
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products.
  • Facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas across a large organization.
  • Advanced experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience running improvement initiatives that span cross LOBs and functional QA areas.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, and/or PMP application experience.
  • Experience running complex, data quality initiatives.
  • Experience working with project planning tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple project and process implementations.
  • Ability to simultaneously lead multiple projects.
  • Experience running platform migration projects and operationalizing them.
