About the position

The Lead Business Execution Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving business execution and strategic planning within a well-known financial services company. This position involves leading workshops, gathering requirements, and managing complex business problems through automated systems. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure project quality and timely execution, leveraging their expertise in Workday and HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and understand client objectives.
  • Drive requirements by incorporating product expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Partner with client areas to analyze complex business problems and propose automated solutions.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups including global business teams and compliance.
  • Perform system configuration and testing activities.
  • Assist in decomposing epics into effective user stories.
  • Maintain task status in JIRA or similar Agile management tool.
  • Work with user groups to resolve questions and assess user needs.
  • Ensure cross-functional dependencies are managed to execute projects on time.
  • Contribute to delivering long-term, large-scale solutions considering global market dynamics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and configuring Time and Absence technologies, preferably with Workday.
  • Experience implementing and configuring Workday functions including Core HR, Time Away, Paid Time Off, and Leaves of Absence.
  • Experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow functions.
  • Project Management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with HR systems in a complex, regulated, global environment.
  • Ability to operate as part of cross-functional work streams.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience interpreting business and technical needs and translating them into user stories.
  • Experience working as part of Agile teams.

  • Experience with HR systems in a complex, regulated, global environment with multiple integrations.
