The Lead Business Intelligence Developer at Henry Ford Health is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data extraction and analysis programs. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive data extraction and analysis programs.
• Conduct complex statistical analysis and develop new measurement approaches.
• Generate reports and support comparative database assessments regarding performance and operational efforts.
• Mentor other developers to spread knowledge and skills.
• Manage deadlines and maintain high quality of deliverables under pressure.
• Engage with various stakeholders to provide actionable interpretations of data.
• Develop ad-hoc reports and improve reporting processes to support strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, or Applied Science.
• 6-7 years of experience in a healthcare or business setting.
• Expertise in SQL, advanced Excel, report building, and technical documentation.
• Experience in developing relational databases, data models, and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• Developer-level experience in at least one programming language or EMR system.
• Basic understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts.
• Proven customer service experience with strong active listening skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
