About the position
The Lead Cable Technician will be responsible for overseeing a small team in Brookhaven, GA, working on a new build project for the Ronald McDonald House. The role involves various tasks including hanging J hooks, roughing in CAT 6 cabling, preparing for drywall installation, and running and pulling cables to open up jacks. Additional experience in programming, audio-visual systems, access control, surveillance, and CCTV is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Hang J hooks throughout the building.
- Rough in CAT 6 cabling.
- Prepare for drywall installation.
- Run and pull cables.
- Open up jacks.
Requirements
- Experience in surveillance and low voltage systems.
- Knowledge of Honeywell and Avigilon systems.
- Installation skills in physical security and video surveillance.
- Troubleshooting skills for alarms and access systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in programming audio-visual systems.
- Knowledge of access control systems.
- Experience with CCTV installations.
