The Lead Career Coach in the College of Education and Integrative Studies (CEIS) will support the campus-wide career readiness initiative by building strong relationships with various functional areas necessary for career and professional readiness. This includes collaboration with FYE faculty, the CEIS Student Success Center, employers, alumni, and event coordinators. The role involves closely collaborating with the dean, faculty, and staff in CEIS to develop and implement trainings that integrate career education into curricula and co-curricular activities. The Lead Career Coach will also recommend for hire, develop, and train additional CEIS career team members to support a comprehensive career-readiness model. The position requires setting strategies for industry-aligned career development services, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the CEIS career readiness model, and working collaboratively with other College Lead Career Coaches to develop innovative approaches and implement best practices. Additionally, the Lead Career Coach will design assessment activities to measure outcomes and present data to CEIS faculty and staff to enhance student career engagement.
