The Lead Career Coach in the College of Environmental Studies (ENV) will support the campus-wide career readiness initiative by building strong relationships with various functional areas necessary for career and professional readiness. This includes collaboration with FYE faculty, the ENV Student Success Center, employers, alumni, and event coordinators. The role involves closely supporting the dean, faculty, and staff in ENV regarding the career readiness of their students, developing and implementing training that integrates career education into curricula and co-curricular activities. The Lead Career Coach will also recommend hiring, developing, and training additional ENV career team members to support a comprehensive career-readiness model. The position requires setting strategies for industry-aligned career development services, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the ENV career readiness model, and collaborating with other College Lead Career Coaches to develop innovative approaches and implement best practices. Additionally, the Lead Career Coach will design assessment activities to measure outcomes and present data to faculty and staff to enhance student career engagement.
