About the position
The Lead Case Manager at Child and Family Service is responsible for supervising Case Managers and overseeing daily programming. This role includes providing case management services to Native Hawaiian participants and families affected by human trafficking, conducting outreach, and hosting community awareness workshops. The position emphasizes the importance of supporting families and children while addressing social injustices and fostering healthy development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Case Managers and oversee daily programming.
- Provide case management services to Native Hawaiian participants and families involved in human trafficking.
- Conduct outreach to recruit participants for programs.
- Host workshops and table discussions to raise community awareness on human trafficking.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or a related Human Service field from an accredited institution.
- Over two years of experience in human or employment services, including one year of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of human trafficking issues, including victim law and social barriers.
- Cross-cultural skills for working with limited and/or non-English speakers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with the Native Hawaiian population.
- Knowledge of community resources related to human trafficking.
