About the position
This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordinating the daily responsibilities of the department, ensuring that the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to team members and executed timely and correctly. The role also involves monitoring equipment functionality and notifying the Supervisor of any maintenance needs while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily departmental responsibilities.
- Communicate Supervisor's instructions to team members.
- Ensure timely and correct execution of tasks by team members.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Notify Supervisor of any needed maintenance.
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
- Experience in a team-oriented environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
