About The Position

The Lead Cash Handler at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Seattle branch is responsible for overseeing the receipt, processing, and distribution of US currency and coin in a high-volume, production-oriented environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures while leading a team to maintain quality control and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Experience in military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and distribute currency and coin in a highly regulated environment.
• Operate complex processing equipment and troubleshoot machine issues to meet service levels.
• Lead a team in a dynamic production environment to maintain quality control policies and work procedures.
• Complete customer transactions and manage inventory through daily balancing, reconciling, and settlement of currency and coin holdings.
• Identify and assess problems within operations and provide recommendations to leadership for resolution.
• Contribute ideas for best practices and operational enhancements to improve production and employee engagement.
• Partner with management to implement new equipment, hardware and software upgrades, and compliance requirements.
