About the position

The Lead Cashier at Tommy Hilfiger is responsible for maximizing sales potential through exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and managing merchandise levels on the sales floor. This part-time role supports store management by performing specific management register functions and assisting in the training and development of Sales Associates, while ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales volume
• Maintain visual presentation standards consistent with division philosophy
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Sales Associates
• Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures
• Ensure customer service is the #1 priority
• Oversee the cash register area for customer/associate awareness
• Understand and create awareness of factors impacting sales volume
• Motivate and develop associates to meet goals/objectives
• Demonstrate teamwork within the store and company
• Lead by example and take initiative
• Follow specific divisional dress code policy
• Work as a team member to accomplish store goals
• Communicate staff concerns to management
• Execute specific management level cash register functions per policy
• Ensure accuracy in all paperwork
• Maintain productivity in non-selling tasks
• Replenish merchandise on a timely basis
• Keep management informed of merchandise-related issues
• Execute and maintain divisional marketing directives
• Complete applicable sections of the management training program
