About the position

The Lead Clinical Account Manager (CAM) at Dexcom is responsible for providing detailed, technically complex information to healthcare professionals (HCPs) to enhance the therapeutic relationship between patients, providers, and the company. This role involves training and supporting HCPs in the use of Dexcom's continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) products, promoting these products at various trade shows, and collaborating with sales and managed care teams to drive market share and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and support high-prescribing CGM physicians and diabetes education nurses to prescribe Dexcom products.
  • Train healthcare professionals on the use of Dexcom products and their integration into practice.
  • Represent Dexcom at local, regional, and national trade shows to promote products.
  • Provide education on Dexcom products to pharmacies within the assigned territory.
  • Partner with sales and managed care teams to facilitate territory sales growth.
  • Increase Dexcom's market share and meet/exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Implement Dexcom strategy and monitor progress towards sales goals using analytical tools.
  • Complete all administrative requirements in a timely manner.
  • Handle high volume, inbound communication from healthcare providers regarding CGM.
  • Network with internal and external colleagues across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

  • Required license in one or more fields: CDCES, RN, RD, PA, NP.
  • Direct experience and expertise in continuous glucose monitoring therapy.
  • Extensive knowledge of diabetes and therapies.
  • Competency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and video conferencing tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior sales and business experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience in the medical device industry or pharmaceuticals.
