About the position

The Team Lead Clinical Trial Educator plays a crucial role in supporting clinical trials by ensuring that both participants and staff are well-informed and equipped with the necessary trial knowledge. This position is essential for the successful execution of clinical trials, as it involves leading a team of Clinical Trial Educators who are responsible for delivering high-quality educational content to both participants and staff. The Team Lead will mentor and manage the team, providing guidance and support to ensure that educational delivery meets the highest standards. Regular team meetings will be conducted to align target goals and productivity with departmental and company objectives. In addition to team management, the Team Lead will be responsible for developing and updating educational materials and training programs as needed. This includes performing routine quality control of participant Protected Health Information (PHI) to ensure that data is accurate and complete based on each protocol requirement. The effectiveness of training programs will be assessed, and improvements will be implemented as necessary. Collaboration with clinical trial leaders, investigators, and other stakeholders is vital to understand trial protocols and requirements, ensuring that all training activities adhere to ethical and regulatory standards. The Team Lead will also maintain records of training sessions and provide regular reports on training activities, performance, and trial updates to the Director of Clinical Trial Education. This role requires a proactive approach to communication, ensuring that trial updates and changes are effectively communicated to the Clinical Trial Educator team, and that all materials are kept up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Clinical Trial Educators.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high-quality educational delivery.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure target goals and productivity are aligned with department and company goals.
  • Develop and update educational material and training programs as needed.

  • Communicate trial updates and changes to the CTE team and ensure all materials are up to date.
  • Ensure that all training activities adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain records of training sessions.
  • Provide regular reports on training activities, performance, and trial updates to the Director of Clinical Trial Education.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Clinical Research industry.
  • Experience in leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical proficiencies and adaptability to learn new technology platforms.
