About the position

The Lead Clinical Social Worker at Marsell Wellness Center is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and administration of services for Unaccompanied Children. This role involves implementing treatment protocols, developing behavioral plans, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal and state standards. The Lead Clinician will also provide supervision to clinical staff and facilitate individual, group, or family sessions, while advocating for the care of minors and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the center's clinical operations and administration.
  • Implement treatment protocols approved by the RCS.
  • Develop behavioral plans and conduct assessments.
  • Conduct utilization reviews and evaluate programs post-unification with sponsors.
  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed.
  • Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions.
  • Ensure timely submission of progress notes and compliance with documentation deadlines.
  • Review and sign off on behavioral specialists' notes and treatment plans.
  • Monitor clinical activities to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Advocate for minors' care and recommend revisions to treatment plans.
  • Conduct home visits and maintain relationships with staff, minors, and community providers.
  • Communicate clinical staff schedules and ensure coverage availability.
  • Coach and support clinical staff in achieving program goals.
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop behavioral plans as needed.
  • Create on-call schedules and be available for weekend or evening work.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with clinicians and behavioral specialists.
  • Provide direct supervision to Behavioral Specialists and conduct performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or relevant behavioral science.
  • Active with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • 2 years of post-graduate direct service delivery experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional documents.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with crisis intervention and behavioral health services.
  • Knowledge of federal and state compliance standards for clinical services.
