About the position

The Lead Cloud Data Architect is responsible for leading the architecture and development of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the delivery of cloud data strategies. This role involves migrating platforms to the cloud, ensuring reliability, and meeting security requirements while overseeing the overall cloud data architecture and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud Data Architects in deploying the overall cloud data architecture.
• Develop standards, frameworks, patterns, and processes for stakeholders.
• Communicate with key stakeholders and industry experts to understand technology and business requirements.
• Develop and communicate the technical data architecture direction and roadmap for cloud data capabilities.
• Analyze the current cloud data platform to detect deficiencies and opportunities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into a data architectural blueprint.
• Provide guidance on cloud automation and CI/CD capabilities.
• Ensure compliance of solutions to architectural standards.
• Collaborate with security architecture to ensure integrity of solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).
• 10 years of related experience or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of cloud computing security, DevOps, and CI/CD data pipeline tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Virtual Private Network (VPN).
• Knowledge of software design patterns and enterprise application architectural styles.
• Ability to identify problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Demonstrated analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
