About the position

As a Lead Cloud Engineer (LCE) at Inspira Financial, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise infrastructure for a dynamic and growing business. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Cloud Services within the Technology Department, your primary responsibility will be to lead the design, administration, maintenance, and support of our cloud infrastructure, which encompasses both private and public clouds, networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, mobile devices, process schedulers, telecommunications, and databases. This position requires a hands-on approach, where you will not only lead interdisciplinary teams composed of development teams, client service teams, and business leaders but also actively participate in the creation and implementation of enterprise solutions. In this role, you will be tasked with modernizing and improving the day-to-day operations of our hardware and operating systems, particularly within Cloud Services. You will lead teams of technical and business professionals through the architectural design, development, and deployment of cost-effective and sustainable cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating system utilization, monitoring response times, and providing primary support for the detection and correction of operational problems. You will coordinate and perform additions and changes to servers, networks, operating systems, and attached devices, which includes investigating, analyzing, recommending, configuring, installing, and testing new network hardware and software. Ensuring that servers, operating systems, and network components adhere to information security policies and infrastructure standards will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will utilize metrics and cloud-native consumption-based services to enhance cost efficiencies and design and implement cloud-native services with CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools. Additionally, you will create detailed design and solution architecture that supports business needs while ensuring security, scalability, reusability, and ease of maintenance and upgrades. Requirements

  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure design and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of both private and public cloud environments.
  • Experience with network, firewall, server, and operating system management.
  • Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools.
